What is IPTV?
IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) is very simple – instead of getting your TV signals through a cable, a satellite dish, or an antenna, you get them through the internet.
You can set up IPTV through a local area network (LAN) or a wide area network (WAN). In this case, you become both the broadcaster and viewer but the media is what’s housed on your computer systems.
IPTV provides viewers with an added benefit and convenience in that they can choose the program they want to watch, anytime, anywhere, regardless of the form in which live television programs are currently broadcast.
How IPTV Works?
It depends on which device you are using to access IPTV channels. The majority of people are using m3u so I am going to show you about m3u. Basically, M3u is a file format which includes the playlist of the channels and there are lots of video media player that support m3u like VLC, Perfect Player or OTT Player. But in my case, VLC Media Player is one of the best IPTV players and easily understandable. Here is the article about How to Setup IPTV on Vlc Media Player where you can find how you can get an m3u file or link and put it in VLC Media Player.
